Xinyuan Chen

Xinyuan Chen is a graduate student in the Black Lab at the University of California, Los Angeles. She received her B.S. in Microbiology, Immunology and Molecular Genetics from UCLA. She is working on understanding the splicing regulation of cassette exons in Myc-driven prostate cancer, using antisense approaches and functional genomics. Outside the lab, Xinyuan enjoys watercolor painting and Asian-style baking. She also loves traveling.
