Daniel Arce

Daniel is a graduate student in the Black lab. He received his bachelor of science and arts in biochemistry from The University of Texas at Austin. He is investigating the biochemistry of splicing factors and their protein-protein/RNA interactions. Specifically, Daniel is studying how splicing regulators assemble on pre-mRNA to repress or promote splicing. When not in the lab, Daniel enjoys surfing, learning to sail, and trail running.
