Nivedita Damodaren

Nivedita (Nivi) Damodaren is a graduate student in the Black Lab at the University of California, Los Angeles. She received her Bachelors in Biotechnology from the Anna University, Chennai, India. She is working on understanding the role of RNA-binding proteins in sequestering RNA onto chromatin and thereby investigating their role in nuclear organization. Outside the lab, Nivi likes cooking, gardening and binge-watching Korean dramas.
